District 6 newsletter takes step forward

What do a sign at Tom’s Shell in Idaho Falls, Coery Finn’s truck driving skills, health insurance coverage and an environmental conference have in common?

They play prominent parts in the new District 6 newsletter “6 Bits” published this week. In an earlier, simpler edition, 6 Bits has captured the attention of judges from a women’s press organization and the Idaho Press Club.

The semi-monthly publication, edited by public information specialist Bruce King, contains features, full-color photographs and District 6 news. The current edition features photos and results from the District 6 Roadeo, an overview of changes in employee health insurance, an explanation of how the district determines its overtime budget, a report on the June 12 and 13 Environmental Streamside “chat” and a personal column by King.
