District 1 Engineer Scott Stokes named new Deputy Director

I am very pleased to announce that Scott Stokes has accepted the position of Deputy Director, effective Monday, February 26.

Scott’s experience, insight and energy will complement our other outstanding executive team members and will be a tremendous asset as we tackle today’s transportation challenges. As District 1 Engineer since 1996, Scott has seen a decade of rapid growth in the Coeur d’Alene area. He understands the demands that growth brings and will play a key role in helping the Division of Highways and the Department respond to those demands.

Please join me in welcoming Scott as Deputy Director and assist him as he makes the transition to his new role.

Pam Lowe
Director, Idaho Transportation Department
