Schroeder, Hood poised to take leadership roles at D3
Amy Schroeder and Fran Hood will make the transition to District 3 in early January, filling key positions when they land near Chinden and Coffey streets. Schroeder takes over Gurnsey’s former position, while Hood assumes Kuisti’s original position. Schroeder is the Engineering Manager (Development).

2013 filled with successes, national recognition

New training available for all ITD employees
As a result of ITD’s commitment to continually develop employees, the Training & Development team is excited to offer valuable training for all employees. Two new programs are bundled in two separate sets of courses. Training and Development recently added the training to the transcript of each employee. Notices about the training courses was distributed recently by email.

Public outreach
Idaho 55 corridor plans unveiled at public meeting
About 70 people attended the Idaho 55 Corridor Study open house on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Shadow Valley Golf Course north of Boise. The meeting focused on the section of highway from north of State Street in Ada County to the Banks-Lowman Road cutoff just north of Banks in Boise County.

D-2 employees gather for first holiday potluck
Lewiston employees jumped into the holiday spirit Dec. 19 with the first district Christmas holiday luncheon. Employees pitched in to create a “potluck feast to be rivaled by none.”

W-2 forms available online Jan. 8
State employees, including those at ITD, will be able to view their 2013 W-2 form on line beginning Jan. 8, 2014, for a summary of their earnings and withholdings in 2013. Information available on line will enable employees to begin preparing their state and federal tax returns.

Encore (12-20-13): District 3's legendary spirit of giving puts smiles on children
The spirit of generosity is rampant at ITD, especially this time of year, and the Christmas luncheon at District 3 on Thursday (Dec. 12) was a prime example. As it has done in the pasts, the district donated several large boxes of new, unwrapped toys to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
