Lowe’s Monet flutters record 662 miles from Idaho to California
A monarch butterfly named Monet, reared by Melinda Lowe of ITD's Environmental Section, recently made history by completing a flight from Lowe's Treasure Valley home to a swimming pool in California.

Six centuries of employee service honored at Board meeting
ITD's dedicated employees were honored during the Idaho Transportation Board meeting in the Headquarters Auditorium March 15. In all, 40 ITD Headquarters employees representing a combined 600 years of service were honored.

District 2
ITD D2 turns over truck to college March 14
ITD's north-central Idaho crew turned over the keys to a 2008 GMC Sierra 3500 to Lewis-Clark State College's diesel technology program on March 14. The truck has amassed approximately 184,000 miles. It still runs but is in need of repair.
