D3's Tim Streagle traded the sounds of nightclubs for the rhythm of the highway
Tim Streagle grew up in coastal Virginia playing and listening to the sweet sounds of the trombone. So it was no surprise that he spent his youth playing in dance clubs and performing in cover bands. Coming to Idaho to work on a highway crew - that was unexpected.

An explosion at an Idaho Fish and Game residence at Powell on March 16 rocked the remote location at Lolo Pass on US-12. ITD's crew heard the thunderous boom around 5:15 p.m. and began to investigate.

New higher-visibility stripe on exit-sign post in Boise significantly reduces vehicle strikes
When the sign at Exit 53 in Boise was getting hit too frequently, the Headquarters Sign Shop located at D3 went to work on a solution that has a Times 7 application — it can be used statewide.
