ITD provides "Return to Workspace" guidance for employees
Over the next several, weeks, ITD employees will begin returning to the workplace in phases as Idaho rebounds. The department has put together a document titled "Return to Workplace Plans and Guidelines" outlining expectations, responsibilities, and more. Although the dynamics will vary depending on the work group, the overall intent is to be respectful of those around us and create a safe and secure work environment.

Sandpoint crew helps Bonner County during emergency flooding last week
Consistent rainfall overwhelmed infrastructure in North Idaho last week, prompting an emergency declaration for Bonner County. Last Thursday night, the Sam Owen Fire Department reached out to local foreman Jamie Miller to supply guardrail in the hopes of diverting the floodwaters away from a private residence.

Partnerships
Partners help ITD address DMV backlog
DMV offices across the state are beginning to reopen their doors. But because of the earlier COVID-19 closures and limited service, there’s a backlog of tens of thousands of Idahoans who need DMV services. On May 19, county sheriffs and county assessors came together at ITD headquarters in Boise to urge drivers to use online services to help ease the backlog.
