Respectful Workplace training to begin for supervisors in September, all other employees in October
For the last several years, ITD has asked employees to complete online Respectful Workplace Training annually as a part of creating a safe and responsive work environment free from harassment or discrimination. Supervisors and managers will be completing training in September, with employees following suit starting a month later. The employee training must be completed by December 31.

Idaho Transportation Board helps reduce limits on US-95, assisting commerce and improving economic opportunities
Commerce within Idaho has been improved as restrictions to most legal loads have been reduced for the 538-mile stretch of US-95 within Idaho, which travels through 13 counties from the Oregon Border north to the Canadian Border. This is the result of a multi-year effort by the Idaho Transportation Board, based on information from industry leaders on the need to allow greater ease of commerce on the highway.

Drive Idaho podcast wins national transportation communications award
The Drive Idaho podcast, featuring information to help travelers safely navigate, recently received a national award from the Transportation Communications committee of the American Association to State Highway and Transportation Officials. The awards, celebrating the best of communication efforts for transportation initiatives nationwide, were announced at an online ceremony August 25.

DMV Innovation
Adding notary to DMV offerings cuts time, better serves the public
DMV Motor Vehicle Investigators help both in- and out-of-state customers solve complex vehicle titling problems. Often, the paperwork requires the use of a notary public to confirm the identity of the individual or organization. Signatures often need to be notarized as well. This creates an inconvenience for customers as they need to find a notary public, make an appointment and have the document notarized before the process can begin to issue a vehicle title. An innovation by DMV takes care of that problem.
