Hailey/Stanley crew recognized by Forest Service for winter efforts
A couple of U.S. Forest Service staffers commented they didn’t know the state would keep the road to Stanley open throughout the winter. Granted, they were new to the mountain region and the level of snow fall was surprising to them.

D2 Striping Crew tackles challenge of striping all of D1 and D2 (and some of D3) this year
This year, for the first time ever, the District 2 striping crew will take on the challenge of completing the striping throughout District 1 as well as their own district. In addition, D2 striped a number of miles of roads in District 3, which they have done for many years.

Rotary Adopt-a-Highway group cleans stretch of Idaho 21
Boise’s Centennial Rotary Club has been volunteering regularly as part of its commitment to the Idaho Transportation Department’s Adopt- a-Highway Program since 2008. On April 30, about 14 members of their service club spent their Sunday morning cleaning debris and litter along Idaho 21 near Robie Creek.
