A warning sign is located just north of Soda Springs on the east side of Idaho Highway 34. It's funny, but also a good reminder that the highway can be inherently unsafe, due primarily to driver (mis)behavior.

Times change, signal not so much
In 1998, a new video-vehicle detection system was installed at the entrance to ITD Headquarters on State Street is part of new technology research. Twenty years later, much has changed, but the light remains.
