Surprise party for D1's Sausser as she hikes into marriage
ITD’s District 1 office in Coeur d'Alene had a surprise party for Public Information Officer Megan Sausser earlier this week, complete with a toilet paper wedding dress game. Sausser marries Cody Jahns on Saturday, Oct. 3 in Spokane, before embarking on a honeymoon of hiking in Leavenworth, Washington.

CJ Kendrick named new DMV innovation steward
CJ Kendrick, a Motor Vehicle Investigator, is the DMV’s new Innovation Steward. CJ replaces Savannah Hill, who stepped away after receiving a promotion to become the Driver Records Unit TRS2. The DMV Innovation Steward assists with the submission of ideas into the innovation tool, and often helps guide the idea into implementation.

Bridge crew tackles extensive repairs in North Idaho
Bridge crews in the districts typically take on the maintenance needs of bridges, like brooming the decks and flushing the joints, but in the last few months, the three-man crew in North Idaho tackled extensive repairs on a tight timeline. One particular bridge near Clarkia showed too many issues that couldn’t wait until its replacement in two years, so the D1 team worked with HQ Bridge to conceptualize and design temporary repairs.
