Transport of oversized windmill loads underway through North Idaho to southern Canada
Starting in mid-October, the first of approximately 300 oversized loads containing windmill parts began traveling from the Port of Lewiston to Alberta, Canada. NexGen Transportation is in the process of delivering the blades and tower sections for 43 windmills. While not unusually wide, these loads are long – some up to 270 feet. Keep in mind that the average semitruck is only 75 feet long. The largest loads also weigh 240,000 pounds.

Blackfoot crew gives shed a fresh new look
As the old saying goes, "out with the old and in with the new"— and that’s exactly what the Blackfoot maintenance crew did with the Blackfoot shed. Tired of looking at the old pink-colored building day in and day out and wanting to really show off who ITD is and what we represent, the crew decided as a team to bring some new colors to the dull shed.
