Innovation Steward Profile:
DMV's Savannah Hill

Savannah Hill is the DMV’s new Innovation Steward. She replaces Beth Thompson, who resigned the steward position recently to concentrate on her new position as the Driver Records Supervisor.

Hill, who can be reached at 7-8499, is a TRS1 in the Driver Records Unit. Prior to joining the DMV, she worked for the Office of Highway Safety. She was selected by DMV managers as the division's new Innovation Steward after nominations were submitted by employees and their supervisors.

“Being the Innovation Steward is an amazing way to contribute to the department’s greater mission,” Savannah said. “It will also be an incredible growth opportunity for me both personally and professionally.”

The DMV Innovation Steward assists with the submission of ideas into the innovation tool and often helps guide the idea into implementation. The DMV has made more innovation suggestions than any other division at ITD.

“The department, and in particular the DMV, encourages its employees to share ideas,” Savannah said. “I look forward to supporting all employees in bringing innovations forward.”
